Jon Favreau skal lave en ny Star Wars-tv-serie
Iron Man-instruktøren prøver kræfter med Stjernekrigen!
Den officielle Star Wars-konto på Twitter kunne i går bekræfte, at de har hyret Jon Favreau til at producere og skrive en ny serie i Star Wars-universet.
Favreau er mest af alt kendt som instruktøren af Iron Man tilbage i 2008, men har også fået stor opmærksomhed for sin live-action-udgave af The Jungle Book.
Serien vil komme på Disneys kommende streaming-tjeneste og direktøren for Lucasfilm, Kathleen Kennedy fortæller følgende:
“I couldn’t be more excited about Jon coming on board to produce and write for the new direct-to-consumer platform. Jon brings the perfect mix of producing and writing talent, combined with a fluency in the Star Wars universe. This series will allow Jon the chance to work with a diverse group of writers and directors and give Lucasfilm the opportunity to build a robust talent base.”
